We love our wine and our mission is to bring you the best examples from all over the world, made by smaller, ultra passionate boutique-style producers who are not interested in selling their lovingly handcrafted products to the supermarkets or big high street chains. We believe that wine should be fun and that everyone’s tastes are different – hence our large selection of wines at great prices. Tasting is a subjective experience and we are keen to introduce you to wines that suit you personally. Our staff are always able to help by giving extra information on the wines and help you make the best choices for you. Our events are always informal, fun and suitable for anyone – not just people who ‘know about wine!’

All wines are served in top quality Riedel glassware and regular informal tasting events take place on the premises presented by Winemakers, Journalists and Masters of Wine.

The Oxford Wine Company, our sister business, is a multi-award winning local independent wine merchant with a national profile. The company has achieved a Top 10 spot in Harpers Wine & Spirit 50 Best Indies every year, and has won multiple prestigious awards such as ‘Small Chain of the Year’ in the Drinks Retailing Awards and ‘Regional Merchant of the Year’ in the International Wine Challenge. In 2023 we were delighted to be named the Best Independent Wine Merchant in the UK by leading trade publication Harpers Wine & Spirit’s 50 Best Indies after featuring in the Top Ten every year since the list’s inception.
